							« back Participants: • Noah Wardrip-Fruin Noah Wardrip-Fruin works at the border of creative writing and electronic art. He will talk about some of his projects from the last ten years, including The Impermanence Agent (a customizing web storyteller) and Screen (a fiction for VR Cave). These examples will be situated within a discussion of the larger field of electronic writing. This field has often been treated as synonymous with "hypertext" in a manner that is both overly limiting and incorrect as to the meaning of the word. While offering an alternative to these past conceptions, Wardrip-Fruin will also discuss more recent developments in ewriting, including the concept of "instrumental texts" - texts that readers play.
